Its about the journey~

A long time fellow stitcher sent me some super lovely words, reminding me that its about the journey, not the destination. As it goes in my work, it is also about the process, not the end result. Understanding this made me realize why I have struggled for so many years with the whole business issue. Constantly thinking about the end stage, the final product of my business endeavors, completely crowded and clouded my mind and creative energy. It was with this notion that I set out to get back into the process of creating over the last few weeks. It was so great to have that feeling again....being really INTO the process, creating art for its/my own sake...feeling like it was an outlet instead of a drain. Its like I'm getting back in touch with a part of myself that has been absent for a long time and now I am able to be more creative in my everyday activities too, changing my life!

So this skirt and a dress are what I made over the last few weeks. They are on EBay: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZecounique

Once again I have to say thank you to all of the wonderful friends and acquaintances I've made through this journey~ you continue to inspire and amaze me :) Love to all*

I was a bit sad to heard that you were closing EcoUnique...But as a mamy and designer my-self, I do know how you feel...Don't stop creating beautiful things...there are other ways... Take care of that Beautiful Boy and Good Luck in your new journey...

Hello Jess, is me again...
I just got an email from you, and you're looking for a way to saw your work that is not your web-site... Well I don't know if you'll be interest in this but is free...
What about myspace? you can make your own web-site, saw your work there and you can change the colors and pictures every day!!
I think is a great idea...
Take care

Hi again :-) I've had kind of a rough evening tonight and this was just what i needed to read. It really struck a cord with me, not so much on a creativity level, but more on a motherhood level. It really IS all about the journey rather than the end result (can you tell we're having potty learning issues in this household?!) and this will be my mantra for the next few months.
We haven't discussed going to string summit this year but we ARE thinking about vending at the country fair. It's still kind of just a thought we're tossing around and there is NEVER any kind of guarantee that you will get a spot at country fair even if you get accepted (they have a really crazy elitist system!) but hey, ya never know right? and yes, eugene is still all vortexy and i haven't really left at all (except for maybe a few trips here and there). I can't find your email but you should email me!! infinitecosmos420@yahoo.com
